You may want to be in another room or out of the house to avoid touching a wet treated area for the short time it takes to dry. After that, your home is safe to navigate.
Flea treatments can be an exception and you may want to be out of your house for a few hours after treatment.
If a fogger is used, you may need to be out of the property for four plus hours & we will advise you on this matter.
We will take all necessary precautions & we will advise you on all treatments & procedures & the length of time you should be out of the property.
Finally, if there are newborn babies, elderly or other family members in your home, for some treatments being out of the house for a few hours is definitely advised as a wise precaution.
How Do I Clean My House After Pest Control?
Depending on the chemical/treatment plan for the moths, fleas or the varied carpet beetles you don’t hoover up after the treatment we will advise you on the period you leave the treatment in place. We want your treatment to do its job undisturbed. Perimeter sprays need time to be effective. When cleaning day does arrive again, you can clean as you normally would; there are no special instructions to follow.
If we used a fogger, once the treated area is dry, we recommend wiping off door handles and countertops to avoid transferring the treatment from hand to mouth. If you have young children or pets, it is advised to wipe the floors as well. We don’t want them picking up anything and putting it in their mouths.
We believe in respecting our clients and their homes. The only disruption we deliver is for the pests who have invaded your home or business
